Well hello there!

This beautiful stag was a practice for another course I did from Sarah Stokes. The goal of the course was learning to paint animal textures such as fur and antlers. I never painted a stag with watercolor, but I found it turned out pretty good! I'm very pleased with the result. 🦌 😊

I used the gridding technique to put the stag in place. Then I used Winsor & Newton Cotman range watercolors on 300g cold pressed, watercolor paper.
